In charge of leading terminal qualification, while participatig into SFR/Vodafone global qualification strategy and mitigating the risk linked to the roll out of new technologies in SFR's live network from a terminal point of view.

Served as a mobile device qualification Expert in SFR's validation lab.
Main tasks included:
• writing test cases for new 3G/3G+ features + making changes in existing test books to adapt them to network vendors' new implementations of radio features (e.g. R5/R99 mobility procedures) in cooperation with 3G/3G+ project leaders;
• participating into/leading Vodafone Global feature teams in charge of writing handset related protocol test plans for new RAN feature (e.g. HSUPA, UMTS900 ...)
• analyzing the logs on both UE (on the Uu interface) and NW side (on the Iub) for debugging issues;
• providing technical advice to SFR's project leaders for helping them optimize issue tracking/fixing processes with mobile device manufacturers;
• investigating major issues with phone manufacturers during joint test sessions;
• training new qualification engineers.
2005 - 2006Served as an IOT (Inter Operability Testing) Engineer in the 3G mobile devices team, involved in testing of 3G prototype phones in the live networks of the operators TIM (Turin - 3 months), Orange France (Paris, Lyon - 4 months), Orange UK (Bristol - 2 months) and Amena (Madrid, Seville - 4 months), within the "Freemove Alliance" (involving also Telefonica and T-Mobile)
Main tasks included:
• practical execution and organization of testing campaigns “on the field” ;
• analysis of the logs on AS (PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC) and NAS (CC, MM, RR …) layers of the protocol stack;
• training of new IOT testers;
• reporting of daily test activity to developers;
• tracking of issues with SW developers by means of the Rational ClearDDTS change request management tool;
• investigation of major issues with the customer (Orange France, Orange UK, Amena) during joint test sessions.
