Chris RORO

French-American artist Chris RORO has participated in private exhibitions in Paris, Geneva and London and since his settling in the United Stated his art has found great resonance among art collectors as he started to exhibit in New York, Boca Raton, Miami and San Francisco.
RORO expresses so well timelessness and the natural forces at work within a painting that push back all limitations to the maximum. His work is pure creativity, an inner search to know oneself. RORO expresses through his art his meditative stance and intense vision of our world.

RORO never knows what he is going to paint. It always comes out of a feeling and of the energy that are stirred within. He says: “My arms don’t always listen to the heart. Deep within, there is often an unbearable time-lag. But when all of a sudden I am riding the wave, I have found the right tempo, a sort of exultation state takes over and I am so moved”.

This inner joy that deeply moves through is what makes him paint. He loves the intensity of the process and the “lightening bolts” inherent to it that forever change him. He loves working with splashes, scratches and color. RORO’s paintings are wild, informal and so lively, going beyond the different categories encompassed in Contemporary Art. RORO’s paintings are pure energy.
