I am part of a team of 4 reviewing key M&A transactions of BNP Paribas, and acting as close advisers to the top management of the bank on various strategic issues.

In this position, I produced - often in cooperation with business teams - studies on various issues including geographic reviews, capital issues, public authority interventions etc.

I am also particularly responsible for monitoring key economic and capital market trends.

I liaise with numerous departments in the bank including business lines (M&A, capital markets, retail banking, insurance etc.) and support functions (risk management, finance and controlling, communication, public affairs, legal department, audit etc.).

I was part of a team of 12 mainly reviewing the M&A operations of BNP Paribas and its subsidiaries.

I was responsible for strategic intelligence and benchmarking of our competitors operating in capital markets, structured finance and investment banking (including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, RBS, Barclays, UBS, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, ABN AMRO, HSBC, Societe Generale, Calyon and Natixis).

In this position, I played a key role in monitoring the crisis by producing studies on the issues affecting these financial institutions and their impacts on capital markets (mortgage products, monoline counterparties, public authority interventions etc.).

I also produced short strategic studies on various topics (capital management, risk management, cost efficiency, etc).

I was mainly liaising with the investor relations department, the communication department, our capital markets, structured finance and investment banking businesses and top management.

Cortal Consors is one of the leading companies in online brokerage and personal investments in Germany and France. It was then operating in 6 European countries.

I contributed to the strategic studies, and the aquisition initiation and execution process internationally in particular in emerging markets (macro-economic studies, competitive studies, business plans, valuations, legal and fiscal issues).

I liaised with investment bankers, strategy consultants, and internal departments (controlling, finance, marketing).

Secafi Alpha consultants advise elected representatives of works councils on annual accounts and estimates, warning rights and economic redundancies.

I researched domestic and foreign retail banking industries and analysed French financial institutions.

I interviewed with top executives and presented reports to our clients.

Banque de France is the Central Bank of France.

I analysed financial reports to provide credit ratings to non-financial companies.

I also assessed the French Central Bank ratings methodology.
