2006-2007 One-year internship in Purchasing and Supply-Chain, New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply-Chain dept, X-Rite (color management devices and solutions), Zurich, Switzerland.

• Bought components and sub-assemblies necessary to manufacture finished products, with ERP system “SAP”, followed up orders until final delivery.
• Took part in an NPI – New Product Introduction - project involving a cross-functional team and outsourcing manufacturing process to a supplier based in China: assisted NPI director with solving sourcing and daily supply-chain issues, put together Purchasing Contract with main supplier and participated in negotiations and finalization.
• Created templates (Cost-structure template for NPI projects, Purchasing Contract main frame, Excel tool to monitor purchasing forecasts sent to supplier), to be generalized throughout the firm.
• Documented and clarified supply chain processes to optimize information transfers in terms of accuracy and speed on an inter- and intra-department scale.
• Revamped and updated PowerPoint presentations used to promote X-Rite to potential new partners abroad.
