Alban Moriniere
Designer, Steelcase
Born in 1987 in Cholet, France, I studied product design in Paris at ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs.
In 2009 I went to Finland to study furniture design at Lahti University of Applied Sciences.
For my Master degree in 2010, I collaborated with the furniture company KNOLL based in NYC and led a project mentored by Benjamin Pardo, Executive Vice President and Director of Design.
After various collaborations in Paris as a freelancer, I am today full time designer at STEELCASE European Headquarters in Strasbourg, France.

2010 - 2010Furniture and interior design for governmental Request For Tender for the new French Ministry of Defence at Paris Balard in 2015, in association with Foster & Partners.
Trend analysis, concepts and design research, CAD modeling and renderings of spaces, furniture and accessories.
2009 - 2010Design of outdoor chair improving laptop use in public spaces.
Project directed by Benjamin Pardo, Senior Vice President of Design at Knoll, New York. Design development with marketing and engineering directors (East Greenville, Pennsylvania). Prototypes made in Italy by BF Bertozzi.
Project done as senior thesis at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, passed with honours in 2010.
