Eurogem is a French company specialized in outsourcing Facility Management.

I was in charge of managing two buildings and in liaison with clients. The first building is located in Levallois Perret and is rented by a branch of the French Home Office equivalent to the MI5. The second one is owned by Roche, a global health-care company, and is located in Neuilly sur Seine.

During this period, I have to carry out different duties, such as :

- Coordinating the day-to-day facility operations,
- Managing essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, waste deposal and recycling,
- Managing the technical team and planning the technical interventions on cleaning, on air conditioning system, on heating, on electric system, on testing water for bacteria, on green spaces, on hygiene and pest control…
- Planning the use of material and human resources,
- Supervising and coordinating work of contractors,
- Environmental quality : putting in place a waste recycling program,
- Negotiating contracts for Hygiene, security, groundskeeping, trash removal and other services,
- Asking for passes to secure sites,
- Overseeing energy consumption,
- Formulating policies,
- Risk Management : drafting of a Business Continuity plan for the Swine flu and emergency plans…
-Calculating and comparing costs for required goods and services to achieve maximum value for money,
- Updating documents for Safety committee (High rise building) and ensuring the building meets and safety requirements,
- Writing of monthly progress report on sites.
