Amélie DODINET
Responsable Marketing & Communication, SMC2 - Construction Sport et Loisirs
I am just back from one year of travel in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand, and my objective is to use my marketing, communications and events skills in a leading and challenging company.
I spent four years at EM Lyon Business School (one of the best management schools in Europe), where I specialized and graduated in International Marketing and Communications, and had a one year voluntary experience with Le Petit Paumé, first French city-guide.
As I had strong writing and editing skills, I was chosen to be a Chief Editor for the 2004-2005 edition. It gave me the opportunity to prove my creativity by writing original articles and chosing the cover page of the guide.
This one year experience also helped me to develop my event management skills as well as my sales skills by selling advertising space for two rubrics (20K€).
For the last two years, I have been working as a Visual Identity Manager in Internal Communications at the headquarter of Groupe SEB in France, the World leader in small domestic appliances.
During my mission, I worked on the creation of the graphic design guidelines with the graphic designer of our new logo. I was then in charge of the roll-out of our new visual identity in France and in more than 120 countries, including Groupe SEB Australia in Homebush Bay. The roll-out was a success.
My management decided to extend my contract to make me work on other core subjects such as :
- the co-organization of the Groupe SEB Management Meeting in Lyon (event management)
- the definition of our new Employer Brand (Human Resources subject : administration of a variety of surveys to collect data about the employees, external audit of schools and graduates, benchmark of our competitors…).
During my first mission, I also created internal and communications pieces such as an internal leaflet presenting to any Groupe SEB’s manager our mission, ambition, values and strategy; a poster “The Groupe SEB in the World” for a presentation in each company and on schools forums… I had to validate these documents and my proposals for a new Employer Brand with my manager and the Board of Director’s so I think it will help me in my mission not to be afraid to interact with senior stakeholders on a daily basis.
At the end of my contract, I decided to realize one of my dreams so I came in Australia to travel all around the country.
My skills and knowledge include:
- - Adaptability, dynamism and creativity (events and musical experiences)
- - Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- - Gathering information (new visual identity: several information memos to help each country with the roll-out)
- - Conducting interviews and running meetings (during the internal audit for the definition of our Employer Brand)
- - Organizational skills
- - Maintaining emotional control under stress (event experiences)
- - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- - Work in a team and lead co-workers towards a common objective (roll-out of our logo to have the same visual identity all over the world)
- - Passion for multicultural environments (thanks to my travel experiences around the world)
- - Fluency in English and computer skills (thanks to my experience for Groupe SEB, I was in contact with more than 120 countries and all my contacts were English-speaking)
I believe I possess the attributes necessary to be a successful communication asset for a company. I will bring great passion and enthusiasm to the job.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any position or just advice for me.
Best Regards,
Amélie
