Andy Chilton

I am a results-oriented, highly motivated individual with over thirteen years of experience in marketing. I have recently moved to Grenoble, with my wife (who is French) and my family.

In my most recent role, as Marketing Manager at Avenir Telecom, one of the UK’s largest contract airtime distributors, I was responsible for managing a team of three marketers and my very broad remit in this organization covered all areas of the marketing/communication mix.

My duties here also included product marketing, namely the introduction and ongoing management throughout the product lifecycle of a highly innovative laser keyboard (the VKB) as well as managing a wide range of product accessories.

I have excellent attention to detail and am very passionate about the work that I do. I believe that I passed this passion and pride that I take from my work onto my team with whom I enjoyed an excellent working relationship.

I previously managed communications for three channels within Orange and was responsible for developing and implementing point of sale, permanent point of purchase and marketing collateral. I also managed two major business projects within this role and was actively involved in the strategic direction of communications for the dealer/distributor channels.

I have excellent creative, direct marketing, agency management, brand and channel marketing skills. I am I.T literate and am fluent in French.
