I translated La BF15's Guide to Modern Art in Lyon. This handbook details every piece of modern art installed in public spaces in Lyon since 1978.
I continue to translate press releases.
I am in charge of subediting for the Oil and Gas Year (TOGY) publications.
TOGY produces annual, national reports on the oil and gas industry.
I write in English for a number of 2ème Communication's international clients. I have written in-house magazine articles, interviews and technical documents as well as translating from French to English.
2007 - 200824hr news produced PDF newsletters in nine languages for hotels around the world.
I was in charge of the UK and USA editions five days per week.
2007 - 2007I wrote articles on law of mining for an annual guide to the extractive industries.
2005 - 2007I wrote business and economic guides on Mediterranean and Gulf countries for the ASCAME (Association des Chambres de Commerce et d’Industrie de la Méditerranée).
2004 - 2005I was a full time reporter on a local weekly newspaper - The Fife Herald and Post.
I did additional writing for West Lothian and Edinburgh Herald and Posts as well as the Edinburgh Evening News.
I also gained considerable experience as a subeditor and editor.
2003 - 2003Stationed at Faslane Nuclear Submarine Base I served as a journalist on a naval exercise.
I interviewed officers and other ranks by satellite phone and at press conferences and wrote reports on the daily "action."
