Tuteur à distance, Université de Limoges
ICT worker, I am curious and always willing to change how people work and collaborate inside my company...
My main core competency is mainly that I am not a specialist in any domain :
I know a bit of anything, mainly in ICT but not only, I am not an expert in any field and a good general knowledge
In 2005, I decided to go back to University, where I have worked hard for e-learning in the field of :
- setting up virtual communities at work and make them grow
- basic techniques of knowledge management
- introduction to collective intelligence
I would like this to become my core competency and excellence field of knowledge
Long ago I used to write some C language programs and passed some years practising database management systems but now it's over and I forgot quite the whole of it
2001 - 2006Transfer of Technology and knowledge
I have contributed to a technology and knowledge transfer concerning a huge industrial plant actually beginning operation in Japan.
Mainly, the job was to prepare expert meetings, which goals were to encourage views and ideas exchange and knowledge transfer to Japanese staff. Such expert meetings are organized in any domain of the plant management (operation, maintenance, occupational health, security at work...)
I was personnally involved in assistance defining the needs and functions necessary to an efficient information system.
We described the main functions covered by the information system, what each is used for and we gave a feedback on mistakes we made when building our computerized systems and how we took these mistakes into account.
Last but not least, the other aspect of this assignment was to give advices to our customers in order for them to avoid making similar mistakes as we made.
1995 - 2000With this experience, I have a global view of every aspect of the definition of an outsourcing agreement and how to make it work :
- writing specifications and call for bid
- writing the proposal and the agreement technical documents
- defining and writing SLAs
- creating dashboards
- imaginating evolution plans
- defining the global rules of reversibility
Also, I have now a good overview of what is outsourcing and what are the jobs of operating and maintaining a huge information system
