Fifteen years in recruitment, having worked on both the client side and on the supplier side, providing recruitment services and solutions for multiple clients in multiple industries, covering multiple disciplines and technologies.
As a senior recruiter I have completed the full recruitment life-cycle, from Job definition and sign-off, through the development of recruitment strategy (file/db search, advertising, full search and selection), execution of strategy (identification & qualification of candidates), process management (interview arrangement, preparation and debriefing), offer negotiation through to progress reviews for both the client and the successful candidate. Industries have ranged from telco, banking, legal, pharmaceutical, FMCG, consultancies to manufacturing.
As a managing consultant I have worked on site at customers in both the UK and the Netherlands, managing teams of up to eleven staff, working in the programme office, involved in budget forecasting; resource strategy & management, project analysis, KPI monitoring and management; managing relationships ranging from the front office through to C-level. Target to hire has ranged from 1 – 500, covering accounting & finance, support, industrial, senior & executive management, sales & marketing, and IT.
As a line manager I have had sales team leadership, responsible for staff motivation, conducting team S.W.O.T. & training analysis (new business development and account planning), performance management & objective
setting (S.M.A.R.T.), appraisal & career & training planning, with strong emphasis on individual and team "buy-in", whilst fostering a customer-focused and achievement-oriented culture with initiative-driven mind-set and team spirit.
