Primary Objective of Position:

To act as on-site program manager and to liaise with the engineering, R&D, flight test and certification departments of assigned rotorcraft OEMs (Eurocopter, AgustaWestland) and adjacent organizations in order to secure the proper adaptations of the represented VS’ systems to the helicopter. Further to secure the information path needed to implement technical documentation as well as to investigate in further business opportunities.


Major Areas of Accountability:
Support the dedicated Value Streams (VS) in lieu of achieving best results in program management, pursuits, development and installation process as well as to liaise with SIS’ business development for the identification of new opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities product and system related, based on VS’ capabilities.
- Act as technical interface between VS and assigned customer(s)
- Undertake troubleshooting for technical issues on current products
- Report on accurate background information in order to secure the right engineering decisions in the factory
- Develop understanding of how VS’ products will or can interfere with helicopter systems function
- Attend technical meetings at customer to allow VS the proper understanding of technical applications
- Organize and conduct Critical Design Reviews and Preliminary Design Reviews
- Investigate and report on future developments, configurations and airworthiness requirements
- Provide inputs for Divisions’ strategic business and R&D planning
- Advise Divisions engineering on customer’s internal design procedures
- Support determination of work priorities with business development manager CT
- Assure flux of information in timely manner to minimize design processes
- Report regularly on status, actions and submit and monitor milestone plans

Working on the TIGER program (Final Assembly Line and Lay-Up / Retrofit activities):
1. Work preparation: preparation of all the technical documentation needed for assembly and lay up activities (technical sheets, SAP routings…) of the TIGER Helicopter
2. Technical support to the Final Assembly Line, and Flight Line TIGER workshops
3. Follow up and implementation of the changes of configuration on the Aircrafts

Final Year Project in the Plant Engineering department: set up of the preventive maintenance plan in the factory.
Implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in order to manage both curative and preventive maintenance

design of a fire prevention system (sprinkler network) in a storage buiding
