2008 - 2009I worked in the IT department of the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales. I provided desktop support to all staff and students within the school, including installation and maintenance of computers running Windows XP professional in a Novell environment. Use of Norton Ghost, writing of technical procedures.
2001 - 2007MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES:
I worked in the network department of the AMAURY’s press group, one of the largest press companies in France. I was part of a team of 3 people supervised by 2 project managers, in charge of maintaining the distributed network. I provided Level 2 and 3 network support to the IT department of the different subsidiary companies of the AMAURY’s press group. I was responsible under the supervision of the project manager for the entire network's administration, maintenance and upgrades. I maintained corporate Mail, FTP and DNS servers. I configured and maintained also all the network equipment such as routers switches and network appliances. The department provided access to Internet and email for the group. I was in charge of the security of the network using anti-virus, anti-spam, and firewalls. I configured also remote secure access to the network.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Migrated 3 remote sites interconnected, from RIP to OSPF including replacement of the network equipments by3COM 5500G EI
• Set up a secure access from Internet to a FTP server through a firewall FORTINET Fortigate 60
• Migrated firewall architecture from NOKIA IP 440 to FORTINET FORTIGATE 300A
• Set up a remote access through a CISCO PIX firewall and a CISCO VPN Concentrator 3000 (IPSEC) with multiple LAN2LAN connections.
2000 - 2001Working in shifts in a team of 7 people, I was in charge of the data processing on five new presses for the newspaper “Le Parisien” and “L’Equipe”. I worked with the supplier of the presses to create new processes to reduce machine downtime. During the day, I was in charge of the computer support in the office.
