Benoît ROBIN
Fondateur du projet, Hoshikaze 2250
I'm a graduate Engineer since 1991, following an all-times passion on science, technology and IT. I began as a mechanical engineer, then turned on consulting, before assuming IT management on mid-size businesses. I'm now Windows system administrator for French Scientific IT in the AREVA group.
I'm on Viaduc mainly for my Sci-Fi writing, namely the Hoshikaze 2250 universe I develop on leisure time for now more than 15 years. It's featured on French-speaking website ( http://hoshikaze.net ) and forums ( http://forums.hoshikaze.net ) and an English-speaking board dedicated to space simulation game development ( http://spacesims.hoshikaze.net ). On january 2007, I created an Association dedicated to the development of the Hoshikaze project. If everything goes well, in 2 or 3 years, it will be completed by a business.
During the past year, Jean MUNOZ and I created on Viaduc the Club Business 78 Hub, also known as CB78 ( http://viaduc.com/hub/affichehub/?hubId=002fy9z... ). It's focused on business networking in the French Department of the Yvelines, whose area code is 78. We then recruited other moderators, including my wife, Lisa LESCORNEZ-ROBIN and a neighour, François LARDERET. Now Jean has desisted from the Hub because he has more than his share of work on other Club Business Hubs on the other side of Paris, where he lives. With Lisa and François, we have developped an IRL association and a blog ( http://www.clubbusiness78.com ) to push further the CB78 concept.
I also must say that, aside from my job, I'm a great Hard-Rock fan. Recently I've created a French-speaking forum about Motörhead ( http://motorhead.hoshikaze.net ), which is now soaring high since the Décember, 7th, 2006 Paris date at the Zenith !
