Bernard BIGOT

Bernard BIGOT is an independent consultant for tourism, hotel and restaurant industry, usually working for international and domestic private investors, international hotel chains or leisure groups, investment funds, hotel developers, etc..

Prior to develop his own consultant activity, Bernard BIGOT served for a long time as Senior Consultant in the well known Horwath group in France, incorporated to one of the major international specialized hotel and tourism advisory services network in the world, and was a former consultant for Touche Ross.

He got specific experience on hotel industry, golfs, leisure activities, Spa and fitness centres, sea-water spa, and restaurants, and a specific knowledge of the French Riviera and Provence in France, West Africa, North Africa, Mediterranean countries, Caribbean region and some specific Islands of the Indian Ocean such as Reunion, Madagascar, Comoros.

He was one of the first experts in France of the “Uniform System of Accounts for Hotels”. He is also currently consultant for international organization for tourism or governments.

He has extensive experience in the lodging industry including acquisition procedures, feasibility studies, development and technical assistance for new projects, hotel management advisory services, and a very well knowledge of international hotel chains.

He was also one of the initial partner and developer of one of the first budget hotel chain in France, the “Balladins” in the 1985’s.

Based on his experience in hospitality, real estate and housing projects audit, he proposes also specific services for project auditing with the “Project Management Auditing Contract”, for any project in the world, as well as hospitality than industrial or real estate investments.

He extended his experience and advisory services for the last ten years to the real estate sectors, particularly housing, retail sectors, logistic parks, and specific industrial sectors such as ethanol refineries, for feasibility studies, project assistance and assistance for funding/financing.

He is developer of the US system of construction “Amcor” (steel frame housing), specifically fitting into the countries facing with high natural risk disasters, such as earthquakes and flood disaster, for the European countries, North Africa and Mediterranean basin. He cooperates with Amcor for any project development in the world, such as Asia.
