Bertrand MICHOTTE
Social Media Strategist @ Noyz Isobar
There is this common joke (hopefully, it’s a joke) about our job in France: we are “those who spend their days lurking on facebook and get paid for it”. Honestly, social media marketing is such a rich and progressive discipline, I’ve come to love this simplistic way to frame it. It perfectly points out THE big challenge digital agencies (noyz included) have been facing: adding the P of “People” to the marketing mix (full disclosure: I didn’t coin that one)
That’s what I like with social media: the constant need to give proof by success [and failure], to create new standards, to leverage the right blend of creativity, accuracy & irrationality that will spark (and sustain) engagement. The challenge is somewhat harsh, while taking it is proving generally awesome... I’m determined to give it my all.
Well, almost my all. I still need a bit left for music and the rest...
One more thing (I didn’t coin that one either):
I think I didn't say Hi. I’m grateful you stopped by. Should the perspective to share our reflections, points of views and sources tempt you, rest assured I’m totally in. Hereafter, you can take a glance at some of the discoveries I’m most proud of.
In no particular order:
- The book that's taught me the most on my job (& life) to date http://amzn.to/abouttrust
- I've drawn part of my passion for marketing from this blog http://bit.ly/sixpix
