Nowadays I am the Director of an international non-profit association, Bipea,which gathers 1200 testing laboratories in 65 countries.

Previously, I have been a lobbyst for the cosmetics industry at the European level. At a second stage of my career, I have acted as the Secretary General of the French association of manufacturers of soils improvers and growing media.

Missions:
- To lobby French ministries, European Commission, key economical players and environmental NGO’s
- To collect, analyze, summarize and communicate economical and regulatory information to Members

Achievements:
- Restart of the activities and the network of the federation which had suffered a 6-month inactivity period
- Respect of the operating budget– financial recovery of the federation– policy of fee reduction
- Increase of the number of member companies by 20%
- Management and defusing of a conflict situation with a concurrent federation
- Creation of a European Industry Federation, of the French Compost Network and the French IPS
- Development of a certification label (Terreau NF) together with AFNOR, French Agency for Standardization
- Update of the European ECOLABEL, as UEPMEA expert
- Beneficial evolution of French and European (technical and market –oriented) standardization.
- Management of a brand label owned by the Federation, called « Charte des Supports de Culture ».
- Organisation of French market surveillance tool, based on a yearly statistical survey
- Opening of an internet website ( www.cas-asso.com ) with an on-line regulatory database

- Lobbying actions towards European Commission in favour of UV-filters and hair dyes..
- Regulatory monitoring and technical advice to member companies.
- Set up, submission and defence of toxicological files for cosmetic ingredients to the EU Commission
