• My working experience commenced as managerial accountant in the automotive industry in France and Germany in 1991, followed by 16 years of experience in management science bilingual teaching at Rouen Business School and other high level institutions abroad or in France (ESA BEIRUT, HEC Paris, ESCP-EAP, Université Paris Dauphine).
• My teaching career has included the design and the delivery of courses on Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting at undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels. I have an extensive practice of executive education for inter and intra company training in France and abroad. This teaching activity also includes the design and the management of digital bilingual learning platforms which accompany live lectures for students.
• My management career in the academic community has involved international partnership development and management as Associate International Relations Director for Rouen Business School. Over the past 10 years I have developed and managed academically and administratively (e.g. including budgeting) international graduate and postgraduate programmes such as Msc. Specialised Masters in European Management, MBA and Executive MBA programmes for international participants ranging from 20 to over 200.
• I have acted as the department chair of the Accounting, Law, Information and Operations Management Department at Rouen Business School since 2008. This encompasses the academic and administrative management of a team of 23 permanent faculty as well as a large number of non-permanent faculty. I am also managing a strategic interest research group on Performance Management which involves researchers from a wide range of institutions around the world. This latter activity is aligned with the outcomes of my PhD research. My area of specialisation is Performance Measurement and Management in an international setting.
• I am currently Director of the Master Grande Ecole, which counts over 2,500 students. I am leading a team of 15 collaborators. Alongside my new role at RBS, I will continue to teach in the various programs of the School and will continue my academic research activities.

2008 - 2009The Rouen Business School Research Team on Performance Management is managed by Bruno COHANIER, co-chair of the Accounting, Law, Information and Operations Management Department.
The expertise of this research team relies on the know-how of Rouen Business School faculty as well as invited research fellows from partner institutions and their collaboration with corporations.
The research team competence relies on the combination of rigorous theoretical and applied research approaches on performance management. These are expressed through international publications and teaching.

Associate Professor - Chair of Accounting, Law, Operations and Information Management Group, Rouen Business School
2008 - 2012The ALOIM department is in charge of teaching Accounting, Law, Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, Information Systems and Management Control. It covers various disciplines in the area of management skills to favour the emergence of general, cross-disciplinary processes which make a significant contribution to the control of performance. The department also supervises students’ learning of how to use management support software.
The department plays and important role in the area of innovation in teaching methods. Using simulation scenarios based on real-life cases, it presents an integrated view of corporate control and guidance systems. A one-week seminar on Management of Information Systems has been set up in partnership with large companies, which participate each year in running the seminar based on a current problem in the company. The department was also a leader in the area of remote learning hubs and e-learning, particularly in association with learning to use management support software.
With regard to research, the interests of the department’s faculty concern knowledge management, the control and performance of sales force, and the determining factors in territorial competitiveness. Some members of the department are also part of the Research Group in Performance Management and the School’s centre of expertise on Organisations and Territories.
The department proposes one major in the Master in Management 'Grande Ecole' (Performance Management) and one Audit Major as well as a "corporate legal manager" postgraduate program.
