- Strong systems skills including experience using advanced planning Software such as SAP APO and AS 400.
- Management of logistic flows (AIR, SEA, ROAD) from Chinese, European and North African suppliers: demand planning and forecast of production needs in compliance with the Customers requirements (for new products, serial products and aftermarket products), negotiation of the prices and delivery conditions of the parts, trace products to match deadlines, optimization of the flows, schedule suppliers deliveries for serial production.
- Management of the aftermarket purchases of the site: forecast and demand planning, creation of the orders, deliveries on time, analysis of the critical parts, research of the suppliers, of the production means, negotiation of the new price and delivery conditions in compliance with new volumes, introduction of new suppliers, follow-up of the homologation of the parts with Quality Department.
- Management of logistic crises due to: payment issues, clearance office issues, price and minimum batches agreements, organisation of special transports to avoid production lines stoppages and backlogs in deliveries to customers all over the world.
- Management of Air, Sea and Road Import and Export Documentation from Suppliers and to Customers(Customs, Purchase Orders, Bill of Lading, Comercial Invoices, Proof of Delivery, etc);
- Weekly and monthly reportings in SAP on time of the KPI: purchasing performance index, LCC (Low Cost Countries) percentage, SuRe, SuMo, BIV and hedging reportings and follow-up.
- Knowledge E-Commerce tools: Ariba, SuMO (Supplier Monitoring) a website which permits to manage the comercial relations with suppliers, to raise orders, follow them up, to get the signatures of the proper people, etc.

I succeeded in managing a new language, a new position, a new organisation and new products in a few time in a very speed, stressful, rigorous environment.
I introduced a new process to follow-up prices changes in compliance with financial rules.
I developed with logistics a means to anticipate a lack of parts at least 3 months ahead. Owing to a SAP transaction, I had time to look for a new supplier or to negotiate a new agreement with the previous supplier.
I implemented a fair management of the “charge-backs”: costs invoiced to suppliers for non quality and
backlogs damages. I organized a quicker communication with supplier and clearer feedback with finance.
I participated to many suppliers sources and to new suppliers introduction in collaboration with Valeo Wiper Systems Branch.

Automobile

- Demand Planning and Forecast the Customers needs in terms of quantity, quality, cost and delay in collaboration with the Logistics Department.
- Management of all the aftermarket purchases of Valeo Reims site (prospection and selection of suppliers, collaboration with the production and logistic department to anticipate the needs, follow-up of the manufacturing, the transport, the delivery and the quality control of the parts).
- Daily, weekly and monthly reports on purchasing performance indicators. (KPI)
- Work with category buyers to negotiate new contratcs with suppliers, strategic analysis of cost reductions, updating of global Valeo databases like Sumo, utilization of SAP software.
I took part of the implementation of the new Valeo 5000 audit in the site of Reims.
I introduced a new component as a technical productivity (lower cost and quicker assembling).

Automobile

Guerlain is among the oldest perfume houses in the world and part of LVMH group since 1994.
- Training (1 week) on Guerlain products, the history of the brand, their proper sales techniques.
- Promotion of the brand and products and advice to customers in the Guerlain head office.
I took part of the promotion of the new fragrance L’Instant de Guerlain.

Luxury Goods and Cosmetics

Novotel is an hotel chain owned by the French group Accor, the European leader in hostels, tourism and corporate services.
- Service in the lounge bar and the pub of the hotel, opening and closing them and in charge of the cash desk.
I improved my capacity to work in a foreign country and in a very cosmopolitan and exigent team.
