- Diagnosis of functioning based on field observation, history, long profile & course of river.

April - July 2008: "National drainage project of Egypt", Ministry of Water Ressources and Irrigation, Cairo - Egypt.
Technical assistance to the Ministry for the program of rehabilitation of pumping stations: Site visit of 18 pumping stations in all Egypt and reporting of works to the financers, ministry and contractors.

August 2008: Training for GIS Department of High Aswan Dam Authority, Ministry of Water Ressources and Irrigation, Aswan - Egypt
Assess abilities, human & material needs and organise work of GIS department.
Teach the basics of GIS, ArcGIS and examples of use and practise with ArcGIS.

Morphodynamic study of the river Galaure causing problems of erosion & flood
-Geomorphological assessment of the river, analysis of the stakes on catchment area
- Diagnosis of the river functioning and its solid transport based on granulometry campaign & aerial pictures analyse.
- Demarcation of a space of freedom and proposition of strategy of intervention or not.

Quality of forecasts of Flood Early Warning System FEWS-Rhine on the period 2002/05
- Creation of a VBA-program to calculate the performance indicators of the forecasts.
- Report concluding on the choice of performance indicators to implement in FEW

Installation and test of the device: Aquapod measuring water quality in drinking water plant.
- Data processing in Matlab and analyse of results of one-month test.
