The specificities of this activity are, in my company; high bulk volumes (thousand of tons a day), bulk raw material processes (grinding, dosing, mixing, peletting), 3 shift/day production, high electric and gaz power facilities.
Feed safety and the diversity of food standards request a high level of tracability.
All these characteristics therefore request a high level of automation.
The interest of production plants manager function is in the diversity of people one has to work with;accounting managers, operators, contractors.
The value added characteristic of animal feed request a specific attention in cost and value reconciliation.
