The core activity of my career has always involved opening new markets and creating new business opportunities. During my time with RISC International, I was responsible for the commercial development of the company, which involved ensuring a healthy pipeline of prospects through to prompt delivery of ad-hoc solutions to the client at senior management level. Due to nature of the activity of RISC and long lead times before final decision, this position demanded excellent relationship skills, maintaining the professionalism of the company throughout the sales process. Further to this, I would like to highlight my experience of working in an international environment for my entire career, an exposure to different cultures which I believe should prove beneficial to working in a global environment.
Furthermore, I have always been faced with the challenge of creating maximum return on investment for all parties involved with restricted time and resources. I believe that this type of experience, coupled with an ability to quickly understand key issues, would greatly help in the construction and retention of long-term business relationships.
