David SIMONET

David is an experienced IT Security Consultant with a broad knowledge of security and risk management within a large enterprise including financial services. In particular, possess a good knowledge covering network infrastructure (Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS etc.), E-business and application security, encryption, secure remote access, and Web application security.

Also David is an experienced project manager with knowledge of best practise such as ISO17799 and SOX, with a proven track record of designing and implementing good working security policies and standards.

A Safety Expert, he was recently certified by the Company Netasq (a reputable designer). David held a Master Specialist for Safety Systems and Networks. David served 9 years in an Engineering Company trouble shooting in transmission alarm context. He held a senior position in the launching of ‘Protectline’, a network alarm transmission in France.

Despite a successful career, he decided to embrace another challenge. David began a new career as a project leader in Security Management. Whilst, employed by HSBC, he held a senior position, managing several teams working on a Safety Project. David remained at HSBC going on to develop an organization, allowing centralization of various safety alarms, before changing his employment.

In recent times, he has been employed by Data Services Group. His remit was to identify customer needs to enable product specifications and propose solutions. During this period, he was involved in piloting ‘Network Installations and Safety Materials’. As a result, David is able to, both control the security of an information system and assit IT Security Team.
