2007 - 2009This contract is a special contract between me, the Business School and the Company.
I am student somes weeks, and the rest of time, I am an employee of Alcatel-Lucent, working in the Export Department.
The knowleges I'm learning in the compagny have to be linked about what I learn in school.
In the compagny, I am responsible of orders in the UK portfolio.
I have financial and logistical responsabilities, working on end-to-end mode.
When a contract is signed with a customer (Eircom, Vodafone....), I have to manage the delivery and the invoicing of the contract, as it has been determined in the contract.
This contract has started in Sept. 07 and will be closed in August 2009.
At the end of this contract, I will have to write a thesis, and after that, I will be graduated : Master of Management.
2006 - 2007Between the first and the second year of the Business School, I did a gap year in Ireland, to improve my english.
I had been recruited in the Apple's call center.
First for the french market, I was answering requests of customers, about their order, payement and delivery.
Then, I had been hired for the UK market.
This 6 months expereince was very instructive, in terms of culture and open-mindedness.
2005 - 2007During 3 summers, I worked like shop assistant in a "Sports and Leisure Megastore", named Décathlon.
Picking and unpacking goods - facing of the merchandising - advicing customers and selling goods...
Theses experiences were really interesting, because in Décathlon, the management is special. Commercial targets and management take its roots in the sport. (like a management of sportive team, settle targets...)
2005 - 2006During the first year in the Business School, I put a lot of myself in our association "Brest Action Service".
This assocation was a Temporary Work Agency. Our temps were students of the Business School.
When a customer (compagnies) asked us to realize a work, we first proposed him an estimate. Then I negotiated the contract, and I recruited temps and managed them during the job.
This "job" was gripping, because its scope was very big (from relationship with customers, negotiation, recruitment to management of temps...)
2004 - 2005During 4 months, I was working in the call center of Cegetel, a French compagny which created a join-venture in 2005 with Neuf Telecom (Big 4 in the French Telephony sector).
I was answering requests of cutomers, about their telephony or internet contracts.
At the end of call, we had commercial objectives, like selling an other contract or selling amendments....
This experience was very intrsuctive in terms of customer relationship and commercial knowledges.
2004 - 2004In 2004, I decided to stop my studies in Computer Sciences.
I decided to work as a commercial, because I was fascinated by this work.
During one month, I sold telepony contracts in house-to-house.
It was an hard job, but I realized I should work in Business, started with a commerial job, instead of Sciences sector (Mathematics, Computer....)
