Main roles (in addition to previous resp.) :
- Warehouse & transport management (Europe & import/export out of Europe)
- Planning of the 8 European factories & 60 Asian suppliers
- Global supply chain projects management (with USA & Brazil mainly)
- Design & development of all specific packaging (40% of the BIC EMEA business)
- Operational management of the co-packing factory in Slovakia (80% externalized. BIC being
responsible of the planning, the scheduling, the purchases & procurements, the finance controlling & the
business development).
Main operational achievements:
- Reorganization of the planning team & processes providing a -22% of inventory
- Logistic network review (14 warehouses changed) providing a cost reduction by 12%
- Rationalization of the products portfolio by 62% and the displays structures from 140 to 5
2004 - 2006Goal : Create the department and set-up a customer focus and operation excellence mindset
Main roles :
- Sales administration of the European call centers ("order to cash" by customer)
- Sales forecasting in collaboration with the sales force and the marketing in the countries
- Database : customers, products, promotions & sales conditions
- Management & coordination of the transversal business transformation projects
- Study & creation of a customer packaging factory for Europe in Slovakia (40% of the EMEA business)
Main operational achievement:
- Reorganization of the team & processes "order to cash" to reach a decrease of the headcount from 150 to 105 and enable a real Customer focus.
- Decrease of the customer late payments by 75% (-28M€)
- Rebuild of the sales forecasting systems & team increasing the sales forecast accuracy by 11 points
- Increase of the service level to the customers by 8 points
1999 - 2003Team : 100 people in the HQ & 30 people within 15 European countries on 26 locations
Goal : Create the European IT department in order to harmonize the countries practices & processes
Main projects :
- Creation & organization of the European IT team aligned to the business needs
- Reorganization of the user support (Helpdesk) level 1 to 3
- Rebuild of the European ERPs (from 11 local systems to 1 unique central multi-countries JDE)
- Implementation of an Advanced Planning System (JDA/Manugistics) supervising 5 factories
