I identified a modification of process that will induce yearly savings of 2 million euros in DTP and that will improve the quality and reduce the cost of both the production and the translation of Renault technical documentation in a shorter time to market.
I wrote formal studies describing the impact of the after sale side of the European automotive type approval regulations on new authoring projects in terms of documentation production and distribution.
I was responsible for making the engineering and type approval departments of Renault aware of the EURO5 regulation impacts and of necessary changes to be made on their deliverable to the after sale and diagnostic engineering departments.
I ensured, at the time of the renewal of Renault DTP subcontractor, a continuity of the after sale diagnostic documentation production in term of delays and quality.
I carried out a first level study to allow for older after sale documentation to be type approval compliant.
I organised and participated in various seminars representing Renault, keeping track of the latest technology in terms of documentation production / translation / life cycle / storage / diffusion and numeric continuity as far as product development is concerned.
I piloted a major and a series of minor evolutions of one of Renault institutional web site, evaluating the legislation changes and controlling their implementation by the subcontractor company in charge of hosting and developing the web site. I initiated two reporting tools: one for project management and development testing purposes and one for internal communication purposes.
I piloted the in-sourcing study of the Renault InfoTech web site.
2004 - 2004I studied the impact of a major innovation in terms of ticket validation on the Parisian tramway network to be. The study clarified the mental representation the project members (RATP and non-RATP) had of the tramway and of its access in term of payment.
I made an introductory speech in an internal seminar presenting the trainees’ work on the subject of knowledge management in the foresight and competitive intelligence department.
