1. Engine Auxiliary System (EAS) for below 4 litres diesel engines:
- Project budget defined for 3 years (from 2010 until 2012)
- Project cost savings by co-development evaluated
- Product cost savings potential evaluated over product life cycle
2. Common Electronic Platform project for below 4 litres engine linked to Tier 4i
- Project budget defined for 3 years (from 2010 until 2012)
- Project cost savings by co-development evaluated
- Product cost savings potential evaluated over product life cycle
- SW specified in France, then developed & tested on India
- Managed Skid Steer Loader Tier 3 development from 2007 to 2009
- Managed Compact Excavator <5t development in 2009:
- Project run from Concept Study Gate up to Development Gate
- for budget prioritization this project has been put on hold during 2010
- Development Gate approved in April 2011
- Coordinate all functions (product planning, R/D, testing, purchasing, industrialization, finance, CST, marketing & communication) to develop products that meet all projects targets set at Development Gate Decision.
- Regularly report to Steering Committee the status of projects (timing, product cost estimate, project cost, risks)
- Build projects budget every year and follow up expenses, costs to spend to complete the project versus project status and initial budget
- Lead, decide and implement corrective actions in case of any deviations
- Lead the project through the different validation gates (Development Decision, Industrialization Decision,
- Launch Decision), ensure the gates criteria are fulfilled and get the Steering Committee approvals for these gates
