I have been working as buyer for 10 years in a company called VG GOOSSENS, located in Lille (France). This company is a division of Van Genechten Packaging, major manufacturer of folding cartons. I focus on purchasing board, containers, palets, film etc. I control and check any negociation on site, I am also responsible for stock reduction and lead projects as such. I contribute to any liable contract on site, making sure group's purchasing policy requirements are fullfilled and cost effective. My environment is not only local but also European. My previous educational and profesional experiments in Manchester (UK) and Siegen (Germany) have helped me a lot working in a European structure. 67 contacts1999 - 1999First, I was employed as analyst to get into contact with IT managers and ask whether their company was satisfied with extra value services (Frame Relay, X.25) furnished by major operators such as BT, France Telecom, Deutsche Telekom etc.
I, then, was employed as Operations Manager to launch a new session of the benchmark. As part of the job, I have recruited the student' staff, trained them and given them the objectives along with what was expressed by the Directing Manager. This mission lasted 6 month, the first semester 1999.
This experience helped me a lot developing managing skills, capacity to work in a team on the one hand, managing projects, set objectives and recruit an effective staff on the other hand.
