I have completed my Bachelor of Business (minoring Tourism, leisure and Event management) at University of the Sunshine Coast, Queenland, Australia. I had the opportunity to learn about ecotoursim at university. Ecotourism is really developped here as Queensland's vision is to be the leader in sustainable tourism at international level in the next years. I would like to work with ecotourism-related business to increase my knowledge and develop new skills and competencies. I'm starting a new master in sustainable tourism in France. In 2011, I worked as an intern at the Mekong Tourism Office. We developped a e-guide to Mekong Responsible Tourism, free guide showcasing the best responsible tourism operators in the Greater Mekong Subregion > http://www.mekongresponsibletourism.org/
At the moment, I'm working as a Research assistant at New Zealand Tourism Research Institute.

2010 - 2010The Rotary Club is the world’s largest service organisation and aims to provide service to the community, at the workplace and throughout the world. The Rotary club of the Glasshouse Country (Queensland, Australia) created the Glasshouse Country Sustainability & Garden Expo in 2006 in order to gather the local community around sustainability, well-being, and garden interests. The 2010 Edition included the School Sustainability Competition in order to enhance environmental sustainability, students’ education and bring out the schools and student of the community around a common vision.
My role is to observe the School Sustainability Competition assessment task, attend the Expo and produce a detailed report gathering the all competition process (planning, implementation, evaluation, recommendation. The competition is a brand-new input on the 2010 Expo and needs to be evaluated as well as improved for the 2011 Expo.
2010 - 2010Catalina cruises runs cruises on Noosa River and Maroochy River. I am a casual hostess at Maroochy Cruise. My responsibilities include preparing the boat prior the guests arrival, preparing food/ morning tea, serving beverages, cleaning the boat after the cruise.
