- Category Buyer, Utilities in the Ahlstrom Global Sourcing Organization :

Currently working on the development of the Utilities, with a focus on Energy within our 19 European Sites (Total Spend of 200 M € - Germany, Italy, UK, Sweden, Finland, Belgium and Spain.)
This includes Electricity, Natural Gas, Water, Coal and Steam purchases as well as the combined management of CO2 emissions, together with Group Treasury.

In this context, I am working closely with local Purchasers, but also Investment Council, Plant Managers, Lawyers, Business Controllers, Maintenance Managers, Local Consultants and Key Account Managers of major Energy Suppliers in Europe .

I am also an active member of the professional body representing our industry, my current Company being part of the largest European energy consumers.

Therefore, I have access to Environment and Energy Committees and Forums, and even had the opportunity to lobby against governmental institutions. By relying on the network I established within the small and restricted energy environment, I enable my Company to benefit from this technological and regulatory watch needed for an efficient management.

At least, I also have a very good expertise on Financial Management and Auditing due to a previous 6 years professional experience as Business Controller and a Master-Degree from a recognized Business-School.
