Engineer in Information and Communication Sciences(Lyon 1 University) and graduated of the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilisations (INALCO, Paris) where I hold a MA in Chinese studies, I was a Scholar of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the Chinese government from 2001 to 2003 when carried out a semiological analysis of the contemporary Chinese public communication.

I have worked successively at the Research Institute for the Development (IRD, Paris), at the Chinese-French Antenna in Human and Social Sciences (R.P.C.,Beijing). In 2004 I joined Centre asie Ifri (French Institute of International Relations) as project coordinator and was later in charge of China projects at the Fondation pour l’innovation politique. In 2005 I was one of the 7 founding members of Asia Centre - Centre études Asie.

I now and then conduct iconological and mapping projects as well as contributions on China’s public communication to both China Analysis-Les nouvelles de Chine and the Asia Centre’s Brainstorming group on China.
