Florent Chollot
Ingénieur apprenti, en école d'ingénieur, Rolls-Royce
Since September 2008, I am employed at Rolls Royce Civil Nuclear in Meylan as an electronic designer. My contract is a school course combined with work experience.
The fields of activities of this multinational company are military aviation, civil aviation, marine and energy. Rolls Royce Civil Nuclear is specialized in the instrumentation and control in nuclear energy.
I have been assigned to CEL department, composed of fifteen employees and about 10 service providers. Its main functions are to develop electronic maps, to pilot tests, and to work with the sales department in order to make quotations.
I achieved the following tasks:
- Development of technical characteristics for EDF
- Renovation of means of testing
- Computer-aided electronic simulations
- Re-ingenering some electronic systems
- Development of test programs
This dual training allowed me to develop technical skills but also my ability to autonomy. I appreciated the trade of electronics technician and its various applications.
