I've been working in the music business since 1995, starting out with Polydor (London).
I've been a music journalist for Fnac Mag (Open Mag) and Trax magazine for 5 years. I'm spinning as DJ Oof and have been reviewer in Radio Nova or a monthly radio show in Paris on Aligre FM. I have also managed the hip hop band TTC for 3 years and the artist Xerak.

101 contactsFrédéric Elalouf aka DJ OOF has launched the "DVJing" movement in France (mix of sound and images gathering hundreds of synchronized sequences from movies, music videos and concerts.
In 2003, he made the executive production for the CINEMIX album (remixes of the most famous french soundtracks of the 60's) for Universal Jazz.
Recently, he made an official tribute to the musician François de Roubaix directing five music videos for the 30th celebration of his death.
In 2006, The National Film Board of Canada asked him to carry out an audio-visual show at the Pompidou Center in Paris, using the film works of the most famous Canadian film-maker : the genius Norman McLaren.

Created in 1998 by Frédéric Elalouf, PINGPONG is a creative and communication agency. We represent independent labels in France : NINJA TUNE (Amon Tobin, Coldcut, The Herbaliser), BIG DADA (Roots Manuva, TTC), ETHER (Gilles Peterson)... on the French territory. Different majors from the music industry collaborated with us for artists such as Gotan Project, Death in Vegas, Cesaria Evora.... We promote records and events of artists from these labels, towards the whole media range.
