Expert in International Industrial Purchasing, in Supply Chain Management, of Contract Management and of Project Management, I am currently seeking to build a strong network in the scope of my functions of "International buyer".
I am looking for contact in position to help me optimising my constant seek of competitive industrial partners in EMEA area and so called "Low costs" countries (China, India, Turquey, South America and Central Europa). I am also trying to continuously improve my skills and practices of sourcing.
Writer of an essay aiming to present some tools to ease the outsourcing of Logistics operations, I had devellop a keen interest for the problematics generated by "exotic" Purchasings.
Every people concerned by such problematics will be welcomen. Issues raised from the implementation of REACH regulations also interested me.
At last, I am open to discuss any opportunity that implies responsabilities, internationale exposure and meaningful reward (as Buyer or Project manager). Previous experience used me to automotive, aeronautic and industrial requirements.

In charge of "Plastic" (4.3 M€) and "Fluidic" (2.3 M€) portfolios.

Project leader for a cost reduction yard.
=> Value analysis. Setting of a global strategy to cope with the objective set by the Direction. Definition of the Work Breackdoww Structure. Monitoring of the tasks to perform.
2010 - 2010Responsible for Travel (Hotels, Airline, Train, Travel agencies), HR (Hiring agencies, Temporary workers agencies, Medical support, Training), Consultant (Legal, Accountancy, Marketing) and Waste management for EAME.
2008 - 2010European commodity leader for Civil construction. In charge of 60 services contracts (MRO, Engineering, Piping, Mechanical for 40M€). Project buyer for Capital projects for France and Mechelen site (for 20M€ by year).
Achievements: Setting (Maintenance contract for VSP - 700k€ by year for 3 years, Waste contract for France – 3M€ of spending by year) and renewal of services contracts. Monitoring of CAPEX projects (RFID, Fire protection, Industrial equipments). Dismantling of Le Mans facility.
=> 2 millions of US$ of savings for 2009 (Objectives 2009: 1,6 millions of US$).
2008 - 2008Commodity manager for a material handling manufacturer. In charge of a 11 millions € perimeter (according to 2007 figures). Management of casting, forging and machining families (steel, iron cast and aluminium). Piloting of Continuous Improvement yard and participation of the Purchasing department reorganisation.
Achievements: Participation to the LEAN implementation yard. Piloting of product families. Monitoring of production transfer. Optimisation of the procurement costs (in the scope of a LBO).
2008 - 2008Context: general expense out of control within the SBU.
Mission: Make a review of the contractual situation (validity of contract, piloting of the performance, bargaining). Renegotiate the contract at a european level if possible and set standard contracts and best practices. Review of the logistics loops between suppliers and production sites.
Achievements: review of the french contracts.
2007 - 2007Context: Replacement of a leaving Senior buyer.
Mission: Commodity leader for mechanical parts (7 M €uros) for an electrical and pneumatic power tools manufacturer. Industrial Purchasing for gears, machining, casting, sintering, mechanical assemblies and plastics worldwide (Europe, Asia, North America).
Achievements: Monitoring of the launch of “Battery tool” and “ERAL” projects. Piloting of “7840”, “CVi3” and “7751” projects (sourcing, allocation, negotiation and follow up). Setting of Purchasing tools (NDA, DAQ, Evaluation questionnaire, Quality guide). Design of the “Purchase” process according to ISO 9001, review of the "Procurement SAP" rules and update of the project tools.
2006 - 2007Context: Mission to solve Quality and production issues.
Mission: Project manager “Manufacturing continuous improvement”. In charge of “RP 322” (Rolls Royce plc) and “ARIANE 5 probes” (SNECMA DMS) yards for this aeronautic OEM: Monitoring of customer relation, of the production (backorders treatment) and of the improvements of Quality and costs issues.
Achievements: Resolutions of the Quality issues and setting of Production planning tools. Completion of the backorders. Review of the production process. Setting and piloting of “Plan of correctives actions”. Setting of a Risks management policy.
2006 - 2006Sourcing mission for plastics and electronics components (Shangaï, Wuhan, Suzhou and Changchun).
Suppliers audit, attendance to two fairs.
2005 - 2006Context: mission to recover for a 9 months delay according to client's planning.
Mission: Project buyer for T7 project (17 M euro from 2008 to 2010). Industrial Purchasing of gear motor, fabrics, metallic tubes, spring, equipment and logistics solutions in Europe and Asia. Allocation and follow-up of the suppliers. Definition of a “Cost reduction plan” to save 15% on the Bill of Material valorisation.
Achievements: Delivery on time of the ‘off the tool” parts. Cost reduction of 10% of the BOM valorisation and definition of further productivity tool (volume effect, sub-assembly buying, Low cost relocation). Evaluation of a Chinese potential supplier (motor + software).
2003 - 2005Project buyer for “Toyota” (12M € for 3 years) and “Daimler Chrysler” projects (15M € for 5 years) with stamping, forging, stainless steel tubes, steel tubes, industrial equipments from Europe, China and Japan.
Commodity buyer for the “Rubber hoses” family (5 M euro in 2004).
Achievements: Successful monitoring of “DAIMLER EGR” and TOYOTA “440 engine” until the Start Of Production. Setting of a supply channel for special steel tubes (from Japan to France)- Buying of logistics service, equipments (prototypes and Laboratory) and services. Setting of the back up source for the rubber hoses.
2001 - 2001Coordination of the “CORALIA project”. Assistance the head of Marketing / product Department. Designed a BUSINESS MODEL to set an entertainment pool in the Group.
Achievements: Training of the hotels staff, selection of the artists and managing of their catering and logistic. Designing of a BUSINESS MODEL to manage “Entertainment” in the CORALIA branded hostel of the ACCOR Group.
