Guillaume Fort
Juriste Insurance linked Securities, SCOR
As a Lawyer Trainee for Lovells France in 2008, I have been instrumental for writing several memorandums in respect of Insurance law, Corporate and Commercial laws, Trust law and Foundation and Association laws. These outcomes have been achieved because of my understanding of Law that I developed at the University of Versailles by graduating a bachelor of Law and by the Master of Law for which I am still continuing on.
Being a Master Student in Law at the University of Versailles in France, I am used to writing reports and memorandums dealing with issues of law. Since these studies have encountered a satisfying success among some students of the university, some papers have been published online on a e-publication website from which I have received many awarding consents saying that the papers provided online were from a very useful help to more than one thousand people.
Working with Dewey & LeBoeuf Company in 2007, I had to write several memorandums in respect of Trust law, Insurance law and corporate law while doing some analysis on renewal conditions of a long-term lease of business property, measures taken by the European Commission following the Business Insurance sector Inquiry, Tax and Legal comparison of the Foundation system and the Association system. These analyses were developed with the collaboration of many European colleagues from whom I gained a cultural understanding and from which I developed strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Also, through challenging positions, I have developed a strong sense of responsibility and ability to contribute to teamwork, even in high-pressure environments. Indeed, as a licensed flying pilot from 2008, I have encountered many experiences which led me to raise my professional behaviour.
In 2006, while working for SCOR Global P&C, I was charged to develop an analysis of the Collateral securities (Financial Instruments), and to participate to several researches dealing with Commutations, Pools (i.e. Nuclear Pool) and Reinsurance treaties. As a Lawyer Trainee for SCOR Zürich in 2009, I have been instrumental for writing an analysis on the validity of arbitration clause in Insurance and Reinsurance contract.
Today, my motivation and energy and desire to learn, have ignited me to work hard and accomplish goals.
