After a french doctorate degree, with governmental funding but industrial purposes ('CIFRE' at SIREHNA S.A.), about computing gain-scheduled control laws for ship roll stabilisation, I then made my best to apply gained experience on reality. My activity as an engineer mixed theoretical research, simulation, model-scale and real-scale validation. Main industrial applications of my work are ship roll stabilisation systems and dynamic positionning systems.
As of april 2007, I am part of the General Sonar Studies department of Thales Underwater systems, in Brest, France. Principal aspect of my work is signal treatment for sonar.
