Invest in Reims is the economic development agency financed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Reims and Epernay, Reims Métropole and the City of Reims; it has a mission to offer free support to businesses wishing to relocate.

In 7 years, Invest in Reims has welcomed 95 companies to the area of which many are large-scale companies based in Paris, such as ING Direct, NATIXIS, TAXIS G7, GMF, CCA and KUONI, all looking for a nearshore solution to support their activities.

Their target was to make an average saving of €10,000 per member of staff per year, while increasing productivity by 10% and reducing turnover by 15%.

This goal was achieved.

In fact, a study by Ernst&Young places Reims top of the list of best business relocation cities in North-East France situated 90 minutes from Paris.

With the arrival of the TGV high-speed train service, Reims has truly become the 21st arrondissement of the capital, placing it just 45 minutes from Paris and 30 minutes from Roissy CDG Airport.

In 2010 Richard DESCOINGS, Director of Sciences Po Paris, chose to open France’s second-largest campus in Reims; the aim is to welcome a total of 1,800 students, half of them from the United States and Canada.
