I'm a computer engineer with a PhD in artificial intelligence with more than 5 years of experience on multiple contexts (e-marketplaces, communications, finance).
I'm currently working as an IT project manager in the financial sector, serving as a communication point between the functional teams and the developement teams, and this is a role that I would like to continue to develop on future endeavours.
Since october 2008 I have been assigned to a mission for France Télécom, where I am part of a team of engineers specialized on the identification, authentification and profiling of Orange's clients.
I have already worked on several projects dealing with the conception and development of web components and end user interfaces, developped on C++, under critical usability conditions (+/-15 million users daily).
2004 - 2008I was involved in a number of R&D projects, including :
- participation on the Infomagic Project, collaboration with EPHE and Paris 8 for the development of a student modeling platform (AI, Latent semantic analysis, Java, J2EE, MySQL);
- development of a user modeling web platform (AI, uncertainty reasoning, Java, J2EE, MySQL);
- collaborations with researchers from Spain (UAB, Barcelona) and Australia (QUT, Queensland) (fuzzy Logic, uncertainty reasoning);
- direction of research internships (AI, machine learning, fuzzy logic, Java).
- collaboration with ILObjects (university start-up) in the design and development of a student evaluation platform (AI, Java).
I also did my master's internship (Avril 2004 - September 2004) at the LIP6, where I developped a prototype for the analysis of museum visitor analysis (Java).
2001 - 2003I was in charge of a group of 5 engineers in charge of the development of functionalities for the CEN E-Marketplace, the most important site of exchanges between providers and retailers in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and other Latin-American countries.
Technologies: EDI documents, ASP, VBA, Visual C++, SQL Server, Windows 2000.
1999 - 2000I was part of a team of computer engineers developing a solution for the management of Internet Service Providers.
Technologies: Java, PHP, Perl, Posgres, Linux.
1997 - 1999While studying for my computer engineer degree I worked as a teaching assistant for courses dealing with Introduction to computers, programming on C++, and programming on Assembler.
