After completing a degree at Sciences-Po Paris in 2001, I founded a company called Oboulo.com. http://www.oboulo.com
This company is a knowledge network, that broadcasts educative content aimed at French, English and Portuguese speaking audiences. We focus on user generated content (UGC).
Our revenues have now reached and exceeded more than a million euros per year, with over 2 millions unique users per month.

This professional experience has allowed me to develop several skills.
I have hired and managed an international team of over 50 people, mainly engineers and editorial professionals.
I have now worked for 2 years on an international segmentation of our market : our US and Brazilian subsidiaries have been settled and we are about to launch our website in Germany, Italy and Spain in their respective language.
I have also developed a quality segmentation on our market : low cost vs. high value websites.
Since the creation of the initial website in 2001, I piloted 4 graphic and technical redesigns, managing the technical and feature specifications along with their integration.

I have mastered the technical and marketing SEO value chains; more than 95% of our traffic comes from search engines.

Throughout my working years, I have had to define and apply many marketing plans (CRM, print, online, SEM).
I'm used to statistics and optimization through ROI monitoring and validation of improvements through A/B testing.
I've a legal and practical experience of acquisition of competitors, and their integration in our business.

In regards to technical skills, I am accustomed to the development of dynamic platforms based on open source technology: PHP5, MySQL, Linux, MVC, Smarty, Zend framework.

I also worked for Yahoo! between 2003 and 2005. This experience allowed me to manage travel and shopping verticals for a top five internet industry player. Acting in a limited and shared ressources environment gave me the opportunity to improve my communication and negotiation skills.

Recently, I launched a spin off of Oboulo, Editplace http://www.editplace.com This project aims at producing content on demand on any subject at an unbeatable quality/price ratio.
