Drive the 3 month recovery plan for the plant. Implement basics on production to be able to start continuous improvement activities.
Drive continuous improvement activity. Implementation of the Lean manufacturing and HSE standards in new programs launch (Volkswagen, Chrysler, General Motors, Hyundai…). Lead logistic improvement plan (Pull system, small train, truck preparation area). Improve material and information flow through the plant.
Train other manager to lean manufacturing principles through workshop (TPM, SMED, Pull System, Hoshin, A3)
Set in place safety standard. Comply with Mexican laws and Faurecia safety system.
2008 - 2010Responsible for Lean manufacturing activity (continuous improvement). Set up and management of different improvement workshops : A3 (Management tool for lean project, free up $55,000 in cash and improve VCM by $100,000/year on a production line), Hoshin workshop, MIFA (Value Stream Mapping), 5S,...
Set up of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) on capacity installations (TRS went from 65% to 85%).
Improvement of the overall efficiency of the plant, heads reduction, stock level and lead time improvement, line balancing).
Pull system deployement from logistic to the production line (Production leveling, sequencing, kanban with fixed or variable batch size, SMED, Heijunka box).
Technical support for other functions (Production, Logistic, Maintenance,…)
2008 - 2008Support the Product System Efficiency Coordinator to improve the efficiency of the plant (Line feeding, Line balance…)
Prepare the launch of a new product (line modifications, set up of logistic material flux)
2006 - 2006Set up of a production line with a component feed using Kanban principles. I improved an assembly line with ergonomic criteria (preliminary draft on SolidWorks)
2006 - 2006Modelling of a medical respiratory machine in Solidworks, and production of a preliminary draft of completely computerized process instruction (SolidWorks animator).
2005 - 2005Drafting of a preventive maintenance document TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) on a welding robot (TIG, Plasma).
