Laurent Campguilhem
Project Manager, Eaton Aerospace
It's been now 7 years since I took the position of a Project Manager in the aerospace industry. I work for an American company that employs 80.000 persons around the world, 25.000 in the aerospace division. I am french and I am definitely fluent in English. This is actually an advantage for my current position and for the one I am looking forward to take; In my every day work internally or with my external contacts, english is the common language.
I have been working in the aerospace field for almost 10 years now, and I really like this demanding mix of high quality level and technical constraints that can only be managed through team work.
My mission starts at the very beggining of the project - technical and commercial proposal - and I follow every step until the full production rate. I have been involved on various programs either on civil platforms (A380, Falcon 7X) or military ITAR platforms (A400M, JSF, UAVs...).
My job is voice of customer oriented from the very start so that its needs are fully identified, understood, converted into products and, at the end, satisfied. Internally I schedule and plan the purchasing, engineering, testing, and manufacturing activities and I provide my customers and suppliers and subcontractors with the technical expertise of my team.
Today I have the objective to relocate near Bordeaux and offer my competencies to an aerospace company to follow its growth and development.
I provide anyone who read these few lines with the permission to share this contents with relevant people.
Thank you in advance
Best regards.
