2004 - 20092006 to 2009 Process & Technology Manager
Implemented new bromine derivatives products in the fine chemical lines to increase Albemarle portfolio and allow the site to be more profitable (13BCP,Bromoform, represents 600mT AOP 2008 ). Did Technical study of the utilities outsourcing project to save 200k$/y.
Built the process department with two chemical engineers and a chemist in one year. Manage the engineers and dispatch work in line with priority, workload. Train engineers to the corporate policies and best practices.
2007 to 2009 Process Safety Advisor
Named process safety advisor in 2007 for the PdB site. Realized PHA (Process hazard analysis) for flame retardant and fine chemicals plant.
Modelling of toxic release and flammable release scenario.
Administrator of the Management Of Change system (MOC).
Implementing the PSM policies and procedures.
Member of the emergency response team.
2004 to 2005 Process supervisor
Started up the catalyst recovery unit project with savings about 800k$/y and implemented modifications which lead the unit to an optimum service factor and yield.
Debottlenecked the Flame retardant process in 2004 to demonstrate 3 monthly production records in a row.
2003 - 2004Conducted a project from lab to plant scale on mercury recycles from electrolysis sludge which lead the company to reduce raw material cost and improve the safety working conditions.
2002 - 2002Developed a modelling of the TiO2 recycle process in order to reduce the blocked stock product.
