Luis Coelho

Since January 2008, I am in charge of Global Technology Services for the Eastern Region of France based in Strasbourg.

Previously from July 2004, I was Software Group SMB Sales Manager, in charge of all IBM Software sales across France Regions.

From January 2000, I was SMB Sales Manager for the Eastern Region of France, namely Champagne-Ardenne, Lorraine and Alsace Franche-Comté.
This role included responsibility for the commercial activities of all IBM Hardware, Software and Services across the Eastern Regions of France.

I joined IBM in 1989 in the role of a Business Engineer assigned to the Governmental sector, based initially in Paris, and then from 1990 in Strasbourg.

In 1992 I was placed in charge of the IBM Business Partners in Alsace and Franche-Comté, and later in the role of a Business Engineer for Large Accounts in Alsace.

In 1997, based in Paris, I was attached to the Channel Operations for Business Partners and Software Editors at a European level (EMEA).

In 1998 I also worked for an IBM Business Partner, Schaeffer Productique, affiliated with a large industrial textile group. My mission was the development of a Network of distributors in Spain and Portugal.



At the age of 45, I am a trained IT Engineer, with an Engineering Diploma from the Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique (ESI-Supinfo). I have spent time in the USA where I was occupied with the role of French Economic Expansion in Chicago. I speak English and Portuguese and I have a good understanding of Spanish.
