As part of my final year, I am at present searching for an internship to start at some time after 1 March 2009 and which would last at least 4-6 months, in particularly at the UK or USA.
I first became interested in the Nanomaterial`s field when I worked with Daniel as my Co-op supervisor in a Brazilian laboratory (UFRGS), working with ZnO nanowires, during the firsts years of my graduation. My last internship, last year, working with Carbon Nanotubes at the CEA (France), was very useful to increase even more my appetite for this kind of research area, especially in the experimental and application and area.
I am very dynamic and objective person. I have been working and studying in several different domains, biomaterials, robotics, nanomaterials, even helping students in fundamental physics. This flexibility allowed me to establish a solid background to succeed in any complex circumstance. Developed a robot for a competition not only helped me to learn practical concepts of mechanics, electrics and programming, but also gave me a great experience at team-working.
Research and elaboration of an oriented Carbon Nanotubes membrane. Development of all steps from dispersion to orientation by dielectrophoresis.
Development of a Nanolitography Method by individual ions for nanowire production.
