Matthieu Scarset

I am Matthieu Scarset, a Master degree student in Tourism at the Université Paris1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne, within the IREST (Institute of researches and graduate tourism studies).

My researches fields are mainly focused on Tourism, Geography, Economy. I am also interested in urban development, marketing and cultural activities linked to the development of touristic areas.

This year is the last of my master degree. I will lead researches in Hong Kong about the touristic development of Sai Kung district and its opportunity for the sustainable SAR's economic growth.

I start my work on February, 10th.


I am looking for a job as an assistant manager or an internship within the HKTB's marketing department or strategic planning & researches department.

I am also interested in a job as an assistant manager or an internship within a travel agency or a hotel within their marketing department or for their public relationships.

I am opened to dialogue and appreciate teamworking. I demonstrate as professionalism and dynamism in my work as I do in my personnal activities and I am looking for an opportunity to learn and inhance my skills in management, marketing and eMarketing.
