Maxime BLAISE
Ingénieur mécanique - Matériaux composites
I am a fifth-year student in mechanical engineering at Troyes University of Technology (France). My minor is the design of mechanical systems. I am presently realizing my last-year internship at Renault Trucks, which is part of Volvo Group.
During my studies, I realized two six-month internships, both in R&D. That is why I am looking for a first job in this domain.
Thanks to my training, I already have knowledge in fields such as strength of materials, dynamics, fluid mechanics, CAD, finite elements simulation, and project management. Furthermore, my present six-month internship at Volvo gives me the opportunity to get familiar with composite parts design. I also studied for a semester at Tampere University of Technology (Finland), during which I improved my English level.
2011 - 2011Internship in Volvo Technology, Renault Trucks' R&D center in Lyon, France. Designed truck flywheel housing in advanced composite materials within the framework of a European Union research project.
2010 - 2010Internship in the robotics laboratory of Montreal Polytechnic School (Canada). Designed and realized a haptic actuation system (with force feedback) for a surgical gripper.
2007 - 2007February 2007 : Internship as a worker at Trelleborg Reims, a factory specializing in automotive plastic parts: Worked on production machines (Three-shift system).
