· Launched WaferMasters in Europe: organised sales with an EU distribution network (customer introductions, trainings …etc.); created the Applications Lab (Germany) and Technical Support (France).
· Handled first top level contacts to directly sell the first qualification equipments in strategic locations of a key EU semiconductors company.
· Negotiated IP contracts for a major Si-on-Quartz production process developed in Japan.
· Got recognition in EU of the WaferMasters expertise into key thermal processes: USJ (ultra shallow junction) flash annealing, NiSi (nickel silicide) formation, copper annealing…etc.
· Representing WaferMasters in scientific events (ECS, MAM, RTP conference, ASMC …).
· Working with the 3 main EU R&D centers (IMEC, LETI, Franhofer Institute) and advanced semiconductor companies to develop new sub 45nm technologies.
1992 - 2001· Reorganised GENUS EU operations: sales, equipment service & process engineers, inventories in strategic locations as well as support administration. Re-focused European resources & grew sales to $ 15M within 18 month.
· Created new products to extend the life of older equipments: service contracts, automation software, tool upgrades and conversions...etc.
· Initiated MATTSON sales in South Europe, developed the company visibility & qualified Mattson into all major semiconductor manufacturers in France & Italy (& their US operations) generating >$22M, grew the sales organisation in Italy along with a decentralised service support.
· Global Account Manager for a major EU manufacturer, directly reporting to the president of our company, developed the partnership strategy: >$10M within 2 years; production of IP with 2 joint patents.
· Promoted to RTP European Sales Mgr on January 1st, 2000; development of $2M business in <12month.
1984 - 1990· Created the French subsidiary which became the biggest international profit centre ($117M in 1990).
· 35 people organisation: sales, applications, marketing, customer service, bonded warehouse...
· Strategically reorganised sales into 3 parallel channels to saturate the hard disc markets.
1972 - 1983· Managed microcomputer & peripheral support; organised microprocessor courses & seminars.
· Developed communications applications: SDLC/HDLC, LAN's (IEEE802.3, Token Ring) & WAN's (X.25).
· Designed µP boards, real time control & data acquisition systems and various frequency counters.
· Started the Intel European memory test & analysis laboratory and designed the first EPROM programmer for Intellec™ development systems.
