* Responsible for cost management and controlling of two Dow production plants located in Italy and Sweden as well as accountable for the pricing for ten contract manufacturing plants located in France, Italy, Belgium and The Netherlands.
* Controlling and cost management activities included: review of the standard costs, cost and expenses estimates, production and cost centre variance analysis; monthly, quarterly and year-end closing accounting recording according to US-GAAP, sales & expenses forecast reporting, annual budgeting and site and regional management reporting
2002-2003 Epoxy Business
* Responsible for cost management and controlling of a Dow production plant located in Germany. My tasks were similar to the Fabricated Products, furthermore I participated in the European legal restructuration project by contributing to the implementation into a new SAP financial and cost structure (STAR).
* Financial Representative for several Six Sigma projects. My main responsibilities were to verify the benefits and cost calculations and follow-up on project development
2000 - 2003* Responsible for cost management, accounting review and closing of all site services (Administration, EH&S, Utilities, Engineering, etc) for the Dow French and German production sites. Additionally, I provided manufacturing reporting and analysis support to Site Management.
2000 - 2000* Daily invoicing operations included: assurance of timely and accurate recording of invoices; follow-up on blocked invoices, correct VAT application and Dow customer clearing accounts.
* Participated in the implementation of a new Spanish bank software system for the company banking activities and updated and applied the new banking procedure for Spain
1998 - 1999* Activities focused on Dow inter-company prices daily calculation, quarterly inter-company pricing updates and inter-company pricing audits for EMEA Businesses.
