Nathalie TOYE
Relations internationales, Afrique du Nord Moyen-Orient
After graduating in Law & Political Sciences focusing on Middle East and North Africa (MENA), I went to Yemen in order to improve my Arabic.
In this complex country, I had the opportunity to carry out many assignments for five years (1998-2003), providing assistance in various French cooperation programs, working for the French Cultural Center, the French Research Institute, the French Embassy... Among others, I became acquainted with international development partners and mechanisms, as the French Co-operation Attaché assistant. Beside, I conducted research on the Yemeni decentralization process in this tribal system country. Moreover, the French Embassy called me back (2005) to participate in the completion of the first big French “Democratic Governance & Security” program in Yemen. This published study and this last commitment have increased my motivation to work on strengthening transitional democracies.
After a professional break, I am seeking to make a fresh professional start, by making good use of my solid experience in
various Development project management support and of my MENA region's countries understanding in particular.
More, used to work in an insecure context as well as in a multi-national and multi-disciplinary environment, I am open to many overseas job opportunities. Reliable, flexible and readiness to work extra hours, do not hesitate to contact me if my profile could be useful to you.
Thanks for your attention and my best wishes for your projects.
