Identify potential areas of improvement, design solutions and implement action plans for all high financial impact issues such as industrial investments, process management, maintenance, inventories and subcontracting in support of the 2 managing directors:
=> Part of the project team managed by consultants to reduce operational costs. Analyzed axis : Labor efficiency (Direct Costing), Investments, Supply Chain Mngt, Maintenance, Handling & Overheads. Designed value trees. Designed “Road map” to achieve a 25% cost reduction within 3 years.
=> Implemented an inventory reduction plan by managing continuous improvement teams (Inventories and Work-in-process reduced by 30% in value)
=> Implemented a new budget controlling process (budget = 45M€) for the subsidiary
2006 - 2007CHANEL Parfums Beauté – Perfumes & Cosmetics – North of Paris (60) – Plant of 400 persons
¤ Wrote the medium term plan (source of a continuous improvement plan)
¤ Drew up and handled the annual plant budget of 34 M€ with objectives in terms of yield and added value, with the production managers. Managed corrective actions from the Adjusted Operating P&L.
¤ Designed and implemented the continuous improvement plan (objectives in terms of OEE) with the help of 1 process technician (15 production lines) via :
- Lean Manufacturing Methods
- Flow Mapping (Elimination of the bottle-necks),
- Visual Management on the production lines
- Problem Resolution Tools (5 why, Pareto, ...), SMED,…
¤ Challenged and helped manufacturing engineers meet their target cost
¤ Carried out viability studies for the plant investments (NPV criteria)
¤ Specific mission : Managed the outsourcing of a large range of cosmetics (Bourjois brand).

¤ Assisted 5 car project leaders in meeting the cost objective :
Regularly updated an estimated cost
Carried out studies (Value Analysis, Design to Cost, Make or Buy,…) to design a portfolio of “Risks/Opportunities” giving a potential cost
Made sure that opportunities are transformed into savings & risks neutralized.
¤ Cast up and reported the car cost price to the Steering Committee
¤ Carried out cost-benefit analysis (NPV) for the whole car project at each milestone (Absorption Costing)
The project met its target cost price.
2001 - 2002PEUGEOT CITROËN Automobiles – Car Manufacturer – West of Paris (78) – Stamping plant of 650 persons
¤ Improved machine reliability, changeover lead times and organization by developing or re-instating methods & tools such as Autonomous Work Team, 5S, Auto-maintenance, Problem Solving Tools and PDCA
¤ Worked with foremen to improve their operational management («Active Supervision» : workshop tour and 5” meeting)
¤ Created and managed a team of 2 technicians
¤ Participated in the writing of the book of specifications for a “SCADA” (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system), specific for the stamping plants

¤ Six-month mission in Flow Optimization (OTIF criteria) for SAGEM (spark plugs)
¤ Six-month mission in Labor Yield for S.T. DUPONT (luxury lighters and pens)
